Zoketsu Norman Fischer

Bio

ゾケツ・ノーマン・フィッシャーは、1980年にZentatsu Richard Bakerより得度を受け、1988年にはSojun Mel Weitsmanから法嗣を受けました。サンフランシスコ禅センターでは25年間修行し、1995年から2000年までは共同住職を務めています。2000年にはEveryday Zen Foundationを設立し、現在もその活動を導いています。著者であり詩人でもある彼の近年の法話書にはThe World Could Be Otherwise: Imagination and the Bodhisattva Path、When You Greet Me I Bow: Notes and Reflections From a Life in Zenがあります。詩集の最新作はOn a Train at NightとUntitled Series: Life As It Isです。

ノーマンは妻Kathieと44年間連れ添っています。
